Our suggestion is to make one village with one centre and one public administration. First a group of people supports the community to make decisions. This group consists and development workers. Over the years this international organization gets less influence. The organization stays as long as it is needed.

The current situation of the village Ein Hud

The lack of infrastructure like roads, electricity, water and waste water shows that the current situation for the people is not bearable. The inhabitants have no chance to stay in the village during the day because they have to work in other villages or towns.
There is no common public administration for Ein Hud, Ein Hod and Kibbuz. There is no space where the people of the different parts of the village come together.

Ideas for solving the problems

In our idea we are a part of this organization which decides to create infrastructure for Ein Hud. Ein Hud, Ein Hod and Kibbuz should be one village with a new name.

We also want to create a new centre for all the three parts of the village. In this centre a town hall a supermarket and a new school should be built. A new syllabus supports team work.

New jobs are needed, especially agrarian jobs. A production facility makes products out of the agrarian ones. These products can be milk, cheese, olive’s oil, meat and wine. These products should be a brand. The brand helps people to be proud of their own products. And so the community of the village is strengthened.

Also clubs should be supported and the community provides rooms for them.

Explanation to the videoclip

The clip should show the positive effects of the new village. It combines two stories: A band which consists of different young men. The band is a result of the new syllabus which supports the discarding of prejudices.

It also shows the village and its new community. Now people of the former three separated parts work for the same goal – the community.

And also the band takes part in the community. The clip shows the band going through the village and it always plays at important places like the new centre with the town hall, in front of the new supermarket which sells the new agrarian products and even in it.

We choose names e.g. UNITED for the new products or ARE (we are) for the village that shows community. Even MAYDAY has a meaning but it is ambivalent. It can be a cry for help (m’aidez, which means help me) as well as a day in the month may. This month is very positive because the plants begin to grow after winter.
