1) TEAM CREATION The team should work in the URBAN CENTER (DEVICE 1) that will be built at first and will be the place of the FUTURE AND PAST MEMORIES; it will work as an ideas’ container for the future of the city. It will hold the working team and the relating urban models that could reviewed from the citizens. It will work as a filter between the local requirements and the general strategic visions at the extraterritorial level. In the future it could work as a multifunctional community/art/education/hospitality center. The Urban Center will be the starting point of the city new net (NET 1). 2) DATA ACQUISITIONS In the Urban center the group will process and handle data gained through: a) contact with the people b) the historical information c) the geography d) the architectural and historical models of reference e) the main needs f) internet The final results will identify a MAP OF THE URBAN AND CULTURAL FUNCTIONS (DEVICE 2). 3) BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT From the functions’ map, MODELS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT will be created (DEVICE 3). In this way the project of the future development net starts up. A NET PLAN (NET2) will identify: macro urban functions like hospitals and schools, cultural functions like urban center, city hall and places for the music, the commercial and living functions. These will be supported from infrastructures, circulation, green, suburban connection nets. In this design process people of the town will be totally involved. THE NET IS THE PROJECT. 4) TYPOLOGIES DEFINITION From the functions’ map will be identified some schematic and open typologies. Shapes and typologies here represented are not fixed: they are just SCHEMES OF TYPOLOGIES DEVELOPMENT (DEVICE 4). In this case the net will have a development not only plan metric but also vertical (NET 3). 5) IMPLEMENTATION The Master Plan (NET 3) foresees an application of the DEVICE 2/4 and of the NET 2. In this phase the citizen together with the project team could identify the urban method of application, modifying the aggregation schemes, but being always inside the NET PLAN. THE URBAN IMAGE IS ONLY AN HYPOTHESIS OF A FORMAL DEVELOPMENT. 6) CHECK/TIME 7) NEW DEVELOPMENT Checking through the years will be a necessaries step to create a model of development natural to the local reality. Time could take part in the new requirements, shaping the typologies, the primary and future developments lines.
